Talks resume on county trash issue

A Nov. 2015 landfill fire resulted in the county incurring over $30,000 in additional trash hauling fees.

The Elmore County Commissioners continued to question Idaho Waste System's general manager about trash hauling and landfill issues.

Jack Yarbrough and the commissioners have been in both informal and formal negotiations over the last nine months regarding a long-standing landfill agreement dating back to 1997.
