Candidates square off at political forum

Qualifications of the county's next sheriff, government overreach and economic challenges took center stage as candidates running for county and state offices met with voters during a forum April 5.
More than 100 people gathered at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge to listen to the five candidates running for the state legislature and the six others running for county commissioner, sheriff and prosecuting attorney.
