Reader's letter refreshing

Dear editor,

James Loris' letter (Feb. 10 Mountain Home News) was a breath of fresh air. It's always good to know that others too have seen the handwriting on the wall.

The U.N. is not our friend and never HAS been. Mitt Romney wanted it "jack-hammered into the ground."

The U.N. originally began as a good concept, but has since become a haven for terrorist countries. Ever wonder why the U.N. Building wasn't hit on 9/11? Think on it.

James calls treason for what it is. Makes me grin, I remember all the flak I've taken from local libs around here for that. We're supposed to respect the vermin who sell our country out, James, didn't anybody around here tell ya' that?

I don't agree with putting traitors in prison though, where our tax dollars pay for their existence. The FOUNDERS knew what to do with turncoats.

Our founders had a much clearer vision than anyone living here today. They had just fought out from under an oppressive government when they drafted our Constitution. They had just been where WE are headed. Our Constitution was written to keep it from happening again, and to keep government in check.

Today, our Constitution is usurped, on an increasingly regular basis while so many remain focused on who's gonna be in the play-offs next season, and the beer party at Ed's next Saturday, etc. "It's all good", we keep hearing. Is it? Think so?

And James, I'm so glad you mentioned the 1st & 2nd Amendments, because our founders knew, and so should we, that you can never have one without the other. The 2nd Amendment is exclusively unique, in that it is the ONLY amendment that can GUARANTEE we'll always have the rest of them.

This is a cold hard fact people should remember, whether they are gun owners or not. Several countries are paying dearly now, as border invaders run rampant through un-armed citizenries, stealing, murdering, raping in France, Germany and other countries where governments have opened their doors to all of these "poor down-trodden people."

In the very face of what's happening even as we speak, guess which political party CONTINUES to want to let 'em all FLOOD in here, (for the sole sake of future votes), while DISARMING lawful American gun owners if they can?

James, you mentioned "treason." As far as I'm concerned, anyone who knowingly helps elect those who sell this country out is every bit as guilty of treason as the politician promoting it, black, white, male, female, liberal or rino.

We can't blame Washington anymore, (D) or (R). They don't re-elect THEMSELVES.

One final note James. You mentioned "revolt." I'd be ready for it, because today we're living in a supposedly "free country" where even a self-proclaimed socialist can be on a presidential ballot, a fraud can be in the White House and the "elite" are continually exempted from laws that would prosecute anyone else.

Because the government can lie, but YOU CAN'T. Yeah buddy, I'd be ready for it.
