Carolyn Lee St. Jean, age 70 of Mountain Home, passed away at her home on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, with her family by her side.
A graveside inurnment will be held at noon on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
Carolyn was born on July 7, 1945, to LeRoy Christensen and Eva Blanc in Murray, Utah. She married Charles Baringer in 1961, and they had seven children together.
Later, Carolyn met the love of her life, Ralph St. Jean, in 1986, and they were married for 29 years. Carolyn and Ralph did everything together. Carolyn enjoyed her gardening, shopping at yard sales, her long walks, exercise, camping and her art class, and she loved her grandchildren.
She was the glue that kept our family together, making sure we all got together for holidays and birthday parties. She always gave such encouragement with her bright smile when things didn't seem so bright.
Carolyn leaves behind her husband Ralph St. Jean; her five children, Charles "Chuck" (Brenda) of Las Vegas, Kimberly (Rudy) Orozco of Las Vegas, Kermit of Las Vegas, Kelly (John) Hobbs of Boise and Kristin (Guido) Gravedoni of Mountain Home and her stepsons Joe and Paul St. Jean of Orlando, Fla. She has 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Shayne and Michael Baringer.
The family suggests donations in Carolyn's memory to the ALS Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 6051, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
The family wants to thank Marsha Sellers and Bobbie and Brenda from Treasurer Valley Hospice with special thanks to Rost Funeral Home.
