Correction: Private runway approved

A rancher from Hailey gained permission to use his ranch in eastern Elmore County to land his private aircraft following approval of a conditional use permit by the county planning and zoning commission last week.
Chris Stephens, owner of the "S Bar Ranch," built a decomposed granite landing field on his property, located off Hill City Road near the southwestern part of Camas Prairie last summer.

Correction: The approval of the conditional use permit was incorrectly identified as the county commissioners when, in fact, the planning and zoning commission was the approving body.
