County reaches possible deal with landfill operators

If all parties agree to the price increase, trash collection fees will likely increase.

County commissioners reached a possible agreement Friday afternoon regarding a contract with the company that runs the regional landfill on Simco Road.

Negotiations between the county and Idaho Waste Systems and its CEO Jack Yarbrough have continued over the past several weeks after a fire closed the site in November.
