Kenneth Pederson
Kenneth J. Pederson, age 66 of Mountain Home, passed away peacefully at a Mountain Home care center the afternoon of Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
Kenneth was born Dec. 6, 1949, in Eau Claire, Wis., to Marvin and JoAnn Pederson, of Spring Valley, Wis. Ken married his wife, Helen Pederson on May 27, 1967, in Utah. They were married 48 years.
He had been a long-time resident of Mountain Home, moving here in 1972. Ken was a business owner of Coach Craft Auto Body for many years, ending his career with the City of Mountain Home.
Ken is survived by his wife, Helen Pederson; sons Kenny (Tearria) Pederson and Jeremy (Valerie) Pederson; siblings Gwen Pederson of Mountain Home; Kim (Terry) Knutson of Ridgeland, Wis.; Curt (Belinda) Pederson of Mountain Home; sister in-law Karen (Craig) Posney of Arkansas; and sister in-law Debbie Pederson of Yachats, Ore.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; parents Marvin and JoAnn Pederson of Spring Valley, Wis.; mother in-law Gloria Armstrong of Riverside, Calif.; brother Gary Pederson of both Mountain Home and Ronan, Mont.; nephew Brandon Pederson; and nephew Jesse Mittelstadt of Ridgeland, Wis.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed watching his Green Bay Packers with his family. Rest in Peace, Ken.
