Patricia Garcia

Patricia Marie "Penny" Garcia, age 56, beloved mother, sister and friend, passed away at a Boise hospital, on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. She was a very kind-hearted person who became a Certified Nursing Assistant so that she could take care of others.

She loved being with family and friends, playing bingo, yard selling, and taking trips to Jackpot. She was a special person to be around, lighting the room with her smile.

She is survived by her three children, Michelle Martinez, Jennifer Reyes and Kurt Hultenius; and her grandchildren, Sadie, Jiame, Erik, Aiden, Ally, Sierra, Jose, Destiney, Kaylee, Brandon, Brady and Evan. She is also survived by her sisters, Diana Olson, Carol Owens and Nora Goetz, and brother Royce Dutcher and her two dogs, Pebbles and Bear. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded by her mother, Barbara Dutcher; her father, Floyd Dutcher; grandma, Velva Blankenship; grandpa, Dan Blankenship; and her niece, Riley Smith.

Penny will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
