Rodeo queens win honor

Elmore County's rodeo royalty pose with the award they received following their appearance at the Boise Holiday Parade.

Elmore County's rodeo royalty rode away with top honors following their recent appearance at the Boise Holiday Parade.

The county's five rodeo queens won first place in the parade's equestrian unit division.

"The girls were judged against 26 horse units, so this was a big win for Elmore County," said queen coordinator Heather Hardman.
