At front center, Amy Stahl from St. Luke's Medical Center in Boise joins Mountain Home High School physical education teacher Janet Dingus, assistant principal Jessie Ward and students from the junior high school as the hospital representative presents $500 to the school during a meeting last week. St. Luke's Health Systems made the donation after the junior high students logged nearly 2,000 walking miles in conjunction with the Mayor's School Walking Challenge. "A majority of our 565 students participated in the walk-a-thon," Ward said after the presentation.
