Local observance set for Saturday

The Mountain Home community joins cities across the nation this weekend to honor its military veterans during the annual Wreaths Across America Day observance.

Scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mountain View Cemetery, community representatives will place specially designated wreaths in honor of the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine as well as current and former prisoners or war and those still missing in action.

This promises to be another great but solemn service presented by the American Legion. These folks do a great job of showing respect and I ask all to come show your support.
