Local effort continues to preserve historic Canyon Creek Station

A local ranching family has donated a historic building dating back to 1874 to the Bureau of Land Management in an effort to preserve a relic from the pioneers days on the Oregon Trail.
Twenty-four years ago, the Norstebon family bought a ranch that included land in the lush Canyon Creek valley where the historic Canyon Creek Stage Station sat slowly deteriorating and falling apart.
