Halloween showcase

Decked out in various Halloween costumes, members of the High Hopes Special Olympics team pose for a group photo during the team's annual Halloween party Oct. 26. The event was one in a series of events last month involving the local Special Olympics team. Each Saturday, the team continues to bowl at Freedom Lanes as they prepare for a Special Olympics regional bowling tournament, scheduled for Nov. 23 at Westy's Garden Lanes in Boise. Following the tournament, the team will hold its annual Thanksgiving dinner at Western Elmore County Recreation District office.
