Gifted, talented students building 'tiny house'

Khylan Stubblefield, a sixth grader at Hacker Middle School, nails a piece of wooden siding into place as students continued work on their tiny home. It's the second year that students in the school district's gifted and talented program are building a house as part of their academic curriculum.
Mountain Home's gifted and talented program students are once again taking a classroom assignment to a whole new level.
Two years ago, they built a full-sized blue whale out of adhesive tape and large sheets of plastic film. Last year, they built an actual house -- a tiny version built for maybe two people.
