Local area elections scheduled for Tuesday

Voters across Elmore County will go to the polls Tuesday to cast their votes in local elections that include selecting the next mayor of Mountain Home as well as two city council races.

Local polling stations will open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Three precincts -- Atlanta, Camas and Chattin Flats -- don't have polling sites, and citizens in these areas normally vote in person at the county courthouse or by absentee ballot.
