German exchange students visit Mountain Home

German cultural exchange students got a lesson on how to put out a fire during a fire station tour with Fire Marshal Brian Reed last Friday. Steffen Frank smothers a fire with a chemical extinguisher while 15 other students looked on during the hands-on training.

Students from a high school in Hofgeismar, Germany, are experiencing what life is like in Mountain Home during a cultural exchange program.
The students arrived in Idaho on Oct. 9 and are scheduled to leave Mountain Home on Saturday.
