Local woman had up-close view during pope's visit

While most of the world watched from their homes as Pope Francis made his first visit to the United States, Joyce Kyles had a much closer vantage point -- just 35 feet as a matter of fact.

The Mountain Home resident was one of 110 people from southern Idaho that made a special pilgrimage to Philadelphia last week to attend the World Meeting of Families, which coincided with the pope's visit to America.
