John Charles Bremser
1946 -- 2015
John Charles Bremser, beloved husband of Joyce Marie Bremser, passed away peacefully at home, on Sept. 9, 2015. He was 69 years old. John suffered a long, hard battle with emphysema.
John was born in Hustisford, Wis., on Aug. 20, 1946, to Carl and Adeline (Winger) Bremser. He grew up in Oconomowoc, Wis., as well as Illinois and Minnesota. John graduated from Robbinsdale High School in Robbinsdale, Minn.
In 1966, John enlisted in the U.S. Navy and eventually departed with an honorable discharge. On June 20, 1969, John married Joyce Terpstra. They were blessed with two children, Timothy in 1972 and Christine in 1975.
Years later, John went on to graduate from college at Grand Canyon University, in Phoenix, Ariz. After many years working for the utility companies in Phoenix, John retired as a skills trainer in the mid 90s.
John was an avid classic automobile enthusiast and mechanic for his entire adult life, he had a passion for fixing up and restoring old vehicles, especially old Ford trucks.
John was preceded in death by his father, Carl Bremser, and his mother, Adeline Bremser. John will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Joyce, son Timothy (Stephanie) Bremser, daughter Christine (Christopher) Pierpont, long-time friend Richard Morris, a brother, William "Bill" (Christina) Bremser and a sister, Betsy Ost. John is also survived by six grandchildren, Dax, Cody, Gavin, Garrett, Graison and Bianca, as well as one great-grandson, Ajahmehk, and many nieces and nephews. Per John's request, no service will be held.
