Bianca Garcia, youth services coordinator with the Mountain Home Public Library, serves Mexican hot chocolate to Leslie and Elizabeth Tarbet during the sixth annual American Girls Tea Party. More than 70 girls participated in this year's event at the local library. Shortly after drinking their hot chocolate, the girls received a Mexican parade dance lesson.

Girls learned lessons on proper etiquette while boys were outside enjoying a day of "dangerous" events during this year's American Girl Tea Party and Dangerous Day for Boys held at the Mountain Home Public Library on Saturday afternoon.
Both events were sponsored by the Friends of the Mountain Home Library, which has hosted the formal girls tea social the past six years while marking the second year for the danger day event.
