A small community garden near the Elmore County courthouse may not get a lot of attention, but for the past four years has harvested huge dividends for the community.
What started as just an idea in the mind of former Elmore County parole officer Ryan Melanese years ago has blossomed and grown into a raised garden with about a dozen beds and five large pots filled with vegetables and flowers.
