Fire heavily damages Mountain Home residence

The fire at 465 North 8th East St. on Sunday destroyed the home of Johny and Jennifer Figgat. The exact cause of the fire was undetermined, but fire officials added that it started by accident.

A Mountain Home family escaped injury after an early morning fire caused extensive damage to their residence on Sunday.

The fire was reported around 5:40 a.m. that day regarding the house at 465 North 8th East St.
