School district plans to put plant facility levy to vote
Thursday, July 30, 2015

If approved by local voters, the school district's plant facility levy will fund several large-scale projects involving local area schools. This includes a project to repair the roof at Hacker Middle School, which leaks each time it rains and snows with water dripping into the school's classrooms and hallways.
A measure aimed at making needed repairs to schools across the Mountain Home community will go to a vote next month.
The school district is asking voters to approve a plant facility levy during the Aug. 25 election, which would run over a five-year period in the amount of up to $1 million per year.
