IDWR seeks to create new state ground water district

The Idaho Department of Water Resources is considering plans to create a new water district in Elmore County as part of a statewide initiative to regulate local ground water.
Representatives with the state agency highlighted the plan during a community meeting held June 16 at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge.
