Machado, Hope plan marriage

Marty and Collette Lakel of Mountain Home have announced the engagement and wedding of their daughter, Cara Hope, to Forrest Machado.

Machado is the son of Kevin Machado of Lovelock, Nev., and Tammy Cantrell of Myrtle Creek, Ore.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mountain Home High School and works for Horizon Home Health and Hospice of Mountain Home.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Mountain Home High School. He is an employee of the Mountain Home street department,

The couple plans to marry on May 12, in Las Vegas.

The couple will then return to Mountain Home following their ceremony where they will continue to reside.
