Hundreds of students, parents and teachers gathered at Mountain Home Junior High School to honor two teens that died in a crash two days earlier.
The candlelight vigil on Sunday evening was organized through social media as people came together to grieve and provide support.
The crash happened at approximately 6:45 p.m. Friday on Frontage Road. Veronica Verele, 15, was driving a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound on the road when she lost control of the sport utility vehicle. The vehicle rolled, ejecting Verele along with passengers Jesse Rodriguez, 12, Dabid Ivarra Martinez, 13, and Arath I. Hernandez, 12.
Martinez and Hernandez died at the scene. The other two were transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, and their current condition wasn't immediately known.
None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts, according to information released by the Idaho State Police.
