UPDATE: Missing individuals located

Three adults and four children reported missing on Thursday were located just after 11 a.m. on Friday.

According to initial reports, the group was located about three miles north of Meadow Creek.

The 2001 Dodge Durango they were driving reportedly became stuck. A search and rescue team found and helped free the truck. As of noon Friday, the group was heading back to Pine via Fall Creek Road.

The Elmore County Sheriff's Office and Elmore County Search and Rescue launched the massive land search Friday morning to locate five individuals. The two women and three children had gone to Anderson Ranch Dam on Thursday for a drive between 2 and 5 p.m. and were reported as overdue when they didn't returned home to their residence in Mountain Home.
