Danny Downen from the Mountain Home Fire Department tackles the challenge of working out on a stair-climbing machine while wearing an airpack and his firefighting gear while the department collected donations from the public during a fundraiser Saturday at the local Albertsons.

The department continues to accept donations as a team of volunteers prepares for the 24th Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb, scheduled for March 8 in Seattle.
