County officials honor man

Michael Feldmeier, left, was honored by the county commissioners and the sheriff's office for saving the live of a child who had fallen into the Snake River last July.
Michael Feldmeier, a Mountain Home man credited with rescuing a child last July, received an additional honor from county officials Nov. 18.
During a meeting at the county courthouse, Feldmeier received a life saving award from County Commissioner Bud Corbus, Sheriff Rick Layher and Chief Deputy Mike Barclay.
