Home damaged in Halloween fire

The home of Jack, Marjorie and Ozzie Streeter was damaged by fire and smoke Friday night.

A fire caused extensive damage to a home on American Legion Boulevard on Friday. The blaze began around 6:30 p.m. in a basement bedroom at 310 North 9th East St.

Firefighters have been unable to determine the exact cause of the fire. The total damage to the residence was not immediately known.
