Letter to the Editor

Voters are responsible for Obama's ills

Wednesday, July 16, 2014

Dear editor:

When a senator votes "present" 129 times, it should have been clear even to a Democrat that handsome, charming or not, this guy can't make a decision.

Instead of turning his attention to Benghazi, this president flies off to a party fundraiser. Now, instead of going down to the border situation HE knew was coming since January, he's off to another party fundraiser. "Priorities" eh?

He has time for 178 rounds of golf, and lots of vacations though, doesn't he? But as in my last letter, I really can't blame HIM. It falls to the kool-aid and the voters who drink it.

How does this guy get elected twice? Just once, I'd like to see one of our sarcastic little "blog professors" show some spine, write a letter to the editor whereby he must use his/her REAL name, and explain to the rest of us why Barack Hussein Obama is the guy, or ever WAS the guy to lead this nation? How can you people justify this continuing support and adoration when the country is now being invaded and overrun, and still he does nothing?

Can't answer that? I CAN. It's about potential votes, as this "Dream Act/Amnesty" has always been. As these millions of ILLEGALS are eventually "executive penned" into "citizenship,, there should be no doubt what party they'll support out of sheer gratitude for being allowed to cheat the system and cut in the front of the lines where decent immigrants have been doing it the right way. (Yes, our ancestors WERE immigrants. LEGAL ones).

What the White House is doing is commonly known as "stacking the deck."

That's also why Eric Holder, (America's un-jailed gun-runner) spent so much of HIS valuable time running around suing states that wanted to have photo ID to vote. After all, if you don't have to prove who you are, you can live the left wing motto of voting "early and often."

You could get an absentee ballot for your cocker spaniel. According to "Uncle Eric," forcing poor minorities in the south to have photo ID is some sort of "disenfranchisement." Let's see now, you need a picture ID to buy beer, a pack of smokes, to CASH A CHECK or any other bank business, get on an airplane, operate a motor vehicle, pick a sick child up from school, but NOT to vote for the President of the United States.

Oh yes, but if you go to hear Holder or any OTHER bureaucrat speak, you need to produce a photo ID there as well before they'll let you in. But not necessary for the ballot box. Liberal bloggers sarcastically taunt us to stop griping and start winning elections. Not easy to do these days, because as Republicans, we only get ONE vote per customer. ACORN doesn't work for US, and we haven't had to cheat to win elections in the past. Ah, memories of Al Gore who sought to get all the overseas GI ballots tossed out in 2000. He knew the election was gonna be close, and he also knew that most active duty folks traditionally voted Republican. What an upright guy!

It's not just the "future Democrats on the border" either. The additional financial strain on the border states and this entire country, sinks us further into a hole we'll probably never get out of now, and Obama will be able to see the U.S. turn from that "arrogant, hateful nation" into a third-world country, which I believe he sought out to do from the very inception.

"Mr. Apology" isn't on our side, and never HAS been. Again though, he didn't re-elect himself. If YOU did, you can explain it to your grandkids when it all finally comes apart. Unless one is selectively deaf and blind, one can see it right now. No amount of denial can cover this up anymore.

There are serious impeachment proceedings being discussed right now, especially if the GOP takes the Senate back. There was a time when I did NOT favor impeachment, due to the potential lunacy of a Biden administration. Today it no longer matters. I'm not sure things could GET any worse now, even with "Uncle Joe."

I DO have good reason to believe however, that the "Second American Revolution" has gotten underway. The first shots just haven't been fired yet.

Don't forget to vote early and often.

  • "Voters are responsible for Obama's ills"

    Oh really?

In the BIG picture; Voters are responsible for a government by legal corruption which we enjoy today and began before Obama's birth.

Government by legal corruption is not democracy!

What are you going to do about it Mr. & Mrs. Voter; Mr. Mike Bradbury?

  • I disagree with you on a number of points. On the immigration situation it is the law that the children have legal representation and a court hearing. This law was passed in 2008 before Obama took office. He cannot just send them back. He has asked Congress for additional funds for extra judges to help with the caseloads but Congress refuses to provide the funds or easier yet, temporarily suspend the law, so they can be sent directly back. Also if he went to the border and was photographed with the children, it would look like he was welcoming them. It was smart for him not to have gone.

Most Republicans seem to forget that the child immigration began with a law passed under Bush, that Obamacare was first Romneycare, that the mess in the Middle East began under a Republican President acting without Congressional approval, that the Imperial Presidency was a creation of Cheney, and that the Congress is non-functional because of Republican ideology run amuck.

We can change the face of Congress in November if we vote for moderate, collaborative, practical representatives instead of ones stuck on unrealistic ideologies. BTW, I do agree with your points on requiring voter ID.
