Dopps Memorial Rodeo gets underway Friday

Top PRCA performers will appear at the annual charity event, held in honor of a local rodeo star.

Rodeo action returns to Mountain Home later this week as the city welcomes the ninth annual Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association PRCA event is presented by the Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo Association and Mountain Home Auto Ranch and Ram Rodeo.

Gates open at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Optimist Park in Mountain Home. Pre-rodeo events will kick off with a calf scramble for younger cowpokes at 7:30 p.m. both days with the main rodeo events following at 8 p.m.
