Marilyn Carrico
Marilyn Carrico passed away June 4, 2014, in Boise.
Marilyn was born in Malad, Idaho, on July 7, 1938, to George P. Jones and Rose Hill. She was the oldest of five children.
Marilyn married Jerry R. Carrico in 1958 at her parents' home in Malad. They were blessed with three sons, Terry (Conny) of Prairie, Mickey (Debbie) of Mountain Home, and Greg (Florence) of Las Vegas, Nev.
Marilyn's three grandchildren, Josh, Brian and Maya, brought her great joy. She was very proud of their accomplishments.
Marilyn was a licensed beautician and owned her own shop in Mountain Home for many years.
She also was involved in the Scouting program for 25 years, and did everything from being a den leader to selling Christmas trees.
She loved doing crafts, handiwork and canning fruit and vegetables from Jerry's garden. She loved sharing these talents with her friends.
Marilyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 7, with a viewing from 10 a.m. to noon at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.
