Prow cites the differences
Dear editor;
It's time to decide who should represent us in our local precincts on May 2011.
We read many points of view as the election nears, most of which are an attack on an opponent. I would like an opportunity to defend myself. My name is Jace Prow and I am the chairman of the Elmore County Republican Central Committee. I have served in the central committee for many years. I am not a politician but an involved citizen. I serve so I might learn.
My original intent was to educate myself so I could vote my own conscience and not be influenced by someone else's thought process.
My opponent, Geoff Schroeder, is as different from myself as night is from day. I'm a Christian, Geoff is an atheist. I believe our rights come from God, my opponent believes our rights come from government. I support the Constitution of the United States and believe in the 2nd Amendment. My opponent is not of the same mindset. He would violate your rights and have you believe that the government will defend you.
Mr. Schroeder equates open mindedness with disregard to God's law, do what you please with no thought of consequence. He supports gay marriage, abortion and would expand government with the same mindset as President Obama.
I could continue to contrast our differences but I think it is clear how very different we are.
Yes, it's up to you the voters to decide who you want to represent you in your local precinct.
Vote for Jace Prow because I will fight for conservative values that we as Idahoan's cherish.
