Lady Tigers slated to host Jerome
The Mountain Home Lady Tigers return to the basketball court on Saturday when they travel over to Jerome for a non-conference game.
The Lady Tigers, 3-9 on the season, dropped a 59-56 contest to Jerome in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium on Dec. 18.
Mountain Home girls basketball coach Brent Keener indicated their work over the holiday break included trying to improve their shooting.
"We've got to be able to shoot the ball better, and we'll continue to work on shooting and cleaning up the little things," the coach said.
While the team isn't taking a lot of bad shots, "they are shots that we need to make more of at the varsity level," the coach added.
The Lady Tigers travel to Jerome Saturday night and return to conference play on Jan. 8 when they host Middleton.
