Tigers return to action next week
The Mountain Home Tigers return to boys basketball action next week with three conference games.
The Tigers, 1-2 in conference and 1-5 on the season, are coming off a 60-47 loss to Jerome on Dec. 20. Despite the long break between games, Tiger basketball coach Brion Bethel says they have many things to work on during the break.
"We're going to have to really step our game up," the coach said. "We have this time to try and get better at a lot of things and keep these guys in shape, so we can get ready for Middleton.
"Middleton's going to be tough and we've got to prepare -- we've got to get better."
Mountain Home hosts Middleton on Jan. 7, travels to Kuna on Jan. 9, and goes to Nampa on Jan. 11.
