Gloria Mendoza

Gloria Cordova Mendoza, of Mountain Home, left our world at the tender age of 82 years old. She passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013.

On Tuesday, Dec. 17, a viewing will be held from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. rosary at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Gloria was born on Dec. 25, 1930, to Fernando and Hortencia (Garcia) Cordova in San Bernadeno, Calif.

Gloria is survived by her children, Christopher and his wife, Yolanda Mendoza, Mandy and her husband, Beto Caro, Roxanne Silva, Paul Diaz and Larry Diaz and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sally Gonzales and Roselin Cordova, and a brother, Gilbert Cordova.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Armando, daughter Diana, brother Frankie, one grandson and one granddaughter.

She will be missed dearly.
