Mountain Home x-country team places at tourney
The Mountain Home Tigers hosted their annual invitational cross country meet last Friday at Desert Canyon Golf Course.
Skyview won the girls competition, which had 12 teams competing.
Mountain Home did not field a full girls team.
Shilo Clark and Tracey Gordon competed in the varsity race. Clark finished 46th in a time of 23 minutes, 39.3 seconds, and Gordon ran a 25:14.0, which put her 57th.
Elisabeth Stephens and Bianca Shrader ran in the junior varsity race. Stephens had a new season and career best time of 23:03.1, besting her previous PR by over three and a half minutes. She was the fourth runner to finish at the JV finish line. Shrader ran a 26:49.7, which was also a new PR for her by a minute and a half. She came in 68th.
Bishop Kelly won the boys competition, which had 14 teams competing.
Josh Robinson led the Tiger boys, finishing 36th in a time of 18 minutes, 25.1 seconds -- a new personal best by almost a minute and a half.
Anthony DeSantis finished 37th in a time of 18.28.8 -- some 45 seconds better than his previous best time. Jordan Klein also improved his previous best time, running an 18:43.2, which placed him 43rd and 30 seconds better than his previous best.
Andy Croft finished 65th in a time of 19:57. Nolan Pasqualetti finished 70th in 20:20, his best time of the year by 28 seconds. Riley Urquidi came in 74th in a time of 21:30.2.
The Tigers will be in Meridian on Friday for a cross country meet.
