Mann, Conklin tie knot

Aleyah Marie Mann of South Carolina and Taylor Conklin of Mountain Home, were united in marriage July 19, 2013, at Mountain Home City Hall with Mayor Tom Rist officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Samantha King of South Carolina and Daniel Mann of Mountain Home.

The groom is the son of Tim and Stephanie Conklin of Mountain Home. His grandparents are Dave and Maryellen Poseley of Grand View.

The best man was Tanner Conklin.

Wedding colors were creamy white and purple.

The bride's gown was a simple creamy white dress with a longer skirt in the back. The dress was accompanied by a cropped laced jacket. She also wore a diamond studded tiara.

The wedding was a simple event attended by the groom's parents, brother and many local family and friends.

A small reception, described as "beautiful and elegant," was given at the groom's parents' home.
