Jack Hale
Jack Eugene Hale, formerly of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away June 9, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nev., at his home, of natural causes.
He was born to Gordon and Phyllis Hale on Dec. 11, 1949, at Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
While Jack was growing up he loved to play sports. His passion was baseball and football. Jack's dad was his coach and mentor.
Jack was an avid football fan all his life. He was very knowledgeable of the game. He enjoyed watching and talking football with family and friends.
Jack also had a love for cooking and baking, he was known as "Mr. Betty Crocker."
When Jack was not in the kitchen, you could find him outside tending to his bountiful garden and beautiful flower beds.
Jack was a simple man and never met a stranger. He loved breathing fresh mountain air while camping and fishing at Smith Creek in Prairie, Idaho.
Jack was a son, a brother, a father and uncle. He will be greatly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
Jack is survived by two daughters, Julia Hale of Texas and Michelene Bledsoe of Alabama and two granddaughters, his brother, Chuck Hale of Emmett, Idaho, three sisters, Chris Barajas, Paulette Fisher and Melanie Adamson, all of Mountain Home, along with many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Phyllis Hale, and sister Jan Anderson.
At Jack's request no service will be held. Family will say their good byes at Smith Creek.
