Jason Barney
Jason Robert Barney, 26, of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away on June 23, 2013.
Services will be held at Legacy Park on July 1 at 11 a.m. There will be a celebration of his life directly afterward.
Jason is survived by: his wife, Victoria Barney; his parents, LeiLani and Dennis Young and Mark and Tammy Barney; his siblings, Melanie and Sonny Barney and Regina Young; his grandparents, Gus and Rial Pahl, Pat and Jerrie McVey, Delbert and Lois Wood, Alice and John Dew, and Sam Baxter; his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many dear friends whom he considered family.
Jason was born on Feb. 26, 1987, in Sacramento, Calif. Jason graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2005.
He served his country in the United States Navy, which included assisting the Marines in Afghanistan. Most recently, Jason was employed at Marathon Cheese in Mountain Home.
More than anything, Jason loved God, the outdoors, his family and friends.
Jason was a very talented young man creating art through drawing, painting, sculpture, poetry and enjoying unique music. Jason used those passions and his loving personality to impact every life he has touched.
He will always be loved and greatly missed.
