Wisherds to celebrate 60th

The daughters of Floyd and Virginia Wisherd have announced the 60th wedding anniversary of their parents on April 4, 2013.

"Throughout their 60 years of marriage they travelled the world in the Air Force, from Florida to Alaska and Germany and finally settled in Mountain Home for the last 30 years," their daughters said. "Now enjoying their retired life involves walking their dogs, camping, looking forward to visits from grandchildren and great-grand children and lunching at a different area restaurants each day.

"They are truly a modern day testament to marriage and it's importance. They have proven that a marriage is a marathon, not a sprint," the daughters said.
