Soccer squad honored

Awards were handed out at the annual awards banquet for Mountain Home girls soccer last week.

Earning Second Team All-Conference awards were Cierah Bish at fullback and Christa Lewis at midfielder.

Receiving Honorable Mention All-Conference awards were Vanessa Estrella at goalie and Teresa Fredell at striker.

Scholastic awards were also handed out. Earning Outstanding Individual Scholastic awards for a GPA between 3.75 and 4.0 were Katelyn McKenzie, Aubree Ogaard and Natalee Garduno on the varsity team, and Liana Lopez and Kierianna Chavez on the junior varsity team.

Varsity members receiving Scholastic Team awards for a GPA between 3.0 and 3.24 were Hannah Bideganeta, Cierah Bish, Abree Duncan, Vanessa Estrella, Andrea Garcia, Kodi Vines, Gina Gentry, Beatriz Guevara, Ashley Harmon, Christa Lewis, Madison McCloud, Yesenia Ramirez and Bianca Wilson.

Junior Varsity players earning Distinguished Team Scholastic awards with a GPA between 3.25 and 4.0 were Alexis Juarez, Yasmine Martinez, Ruby Martinez, Cordelia Martinez, Nicole Padilla, Amber Phipps, Zayury Rodriguez-Gutierrez, Alyssa Ruona, Maritza Sanchez, Rachel Short, Danica Torres, Victoria Vega Aleman, and Corena Wright.
