AFAD grand marshal named

Air Force Appreciation Day parade committee chairwoman Sue Gross presents Linda Ramsey with a plaque as part of this year's grand marshal announcement Monday afternoon. Participating in the presentation event included former AFAD grand marshals George Haynes, Dr. John Bideganeta and Diane Ferrell.

For her efforts to keep the community's largest yearly event running smoothly, a local financial planner will lead this year's parade during the 52nd Annual Air Force Appreciation Day celebration.

Linda Ramsey was named parade grand marshal during a Chamber of Commerce meeting Monday afternoon.
