Tennis squad completes busy week
The Mountain Home Tiger tennis team had a busy week last week, with three matches.

Mountain Home dropped a home conference tennis match to Columbia at Richard Aguirre Park on April 9.
In girls singles, Kali Ireland lost the first match, 2-6, 4-6. Brytany Minder lost the second match, 4-6, 0-6, and Kaitlyn Stevens lost the third match, 0-6, 0-6.
In girls doubles, Anna Martin and Leah Riley won the first match, 6-4, 6-3, while Tessa Pachner and Emma Wenger won the second match, 6-2, 6-1.
In boys singles, Timothy Austin lost the first match, 0-6, 4-6. Daniel Courtright lost the second match, 2-6, 3-6, and Haydon Draper lost the third match, 3-6, 0-6.
In boys doubles, Ben Dearing and Brad Foreman lost the first match, 3-6, 4-6, while second Andrew Turner and Joshua Saporta lost their match, 1-6, 1-6.
In mixed doubles, Drew Borgholthaus and Allie Draper lost the first match, 0-6, 1-6, while Jacob hanson and Kiana Galloway lost the second match, 1-6, 3-6.

The Mountain Home Tiger tennis squad found the going quite tough at Skyview High School in Nampa last Thursday after they were blanked by the hosting Hawks.
In girls singles, Stephanie Farns-worth lost the first singles by injury default. Kali Ireland lost the second match, 0-6, 0-6, while Karina Guadarrama lost the third match, 0-6, 1-6.
In girls doubles, Anna Martin and Leah Riley lost the first match, 0-6, 3-6, while Tessa Pachner and Emma Wenger lost the second match, 2-6, 3-6.
In boys singles, Timothy Austin lost the first singles match, 1-6, 0-6. Brad Foreman dropped the second match, 3-6, 2-6, and Daniel Courtright lost the third, 2-6, 1-6.
In mixed doubles, Jacob Hanson and Kiana Galloway lost the first match, 2-6, 1-6, while Haydon Draper and Heidi Rawlins lost the second, 2-6, 0-6.

The Tiger boys prevailed at Jerome Saturday while the girls lost during a close match.

In mixed doubles, Ben Dearing and Kaitlyn Stevens lost the first match, 0-6, 2-6, while Jacob Hanson and Kiana Galloway lost the second match 1-6, 1-6.
The Tiger netters hosted Bishop Kelly on Monday before they travel to Emmett on Thursday, April 19.
