Correction - Art show set for Nov. 19

The Visual Arts Guild of the Mountain Home Arts Council will host the 6th Annual Art at the Inn art show at the Hampton Inn and Suites of Mountain Home on Nov. 19.

Extended hours this year will run from noon to 8 p.m., allowing more time to view the work of the 14 featured artists from across the region.

The Pheasant Pluckers will provide music while Smokey Mountain Pizzeria Grill sells food and beverages.

One of the show's highlights is the Out of the Box project. This year's theme "Boxes" features a selection of small boxes artist-painted in a variety of styles. Silent auction bid forms will be available during the show. Winners will be notified and do not have to be present.

Proceeds from Out of the Box sales provide scholarships to high school students to further their careers in the arts.

A special treat this year will be tastings by The Chocolate Box, makers of handcrafted chocolates.
