Search teams find missing hunter

Elmore County search and rescue teams were called out Thursday morning to look for a hunter who may be lost somewhere between Tipanuk and Danskin Mountain.

The 36-year-old Boise man was reported missing by his family after he did not return home last night. He was bound about 9:30 a.m. on Danskin Road where his blue 2011 Ford Flex had broken down..

The man did not tell his family the specific area where he would be hunting. His general location had been inferred after authorities "pinged" his cell phone and received a hit off the Coyote tower near Tipanuk.
