Sykes seeks city council post

Rich Sykes is one of four people seeking to earn one of two seats on the Mountain Home City Council.

Rich Sykes, 36, has announced his intention to seek one of the two positions up for election on the Mountain Home City Council in the Nov. 8 elections.

Councilman Geoff Schroeder will not be seeking re-election, but incumbent Russ Anderson will ask the voters for another four-year term. Also running for the two open council seats are political newcomers James Schipani and Tim Bondy. The two candidates who receive the most votes will be elected.
