Norstebon, Palmer to wed
Robert and Joy Norstebon of Mountain Home have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Alene Norstebon, to James Layne Palmer, son of Layne and Leilani Palmer of North Salt Lake, Utah.
Sandra began her life in Sacramento, Calif. Her father was in the United States Coast Guard and she was able to travel with her family to locations such as Hawaii, Alaska, Alabama, Georgia and Puerto Rico before her move to Mountain Home. Her education was unique. She had the opportunity to study with tutors in foreign languages, cultures of the native area and was a graduate of BYU Independent Study. She is employed with Parks and Recreation in Mountain Home.
James lived in Park Valley, Utah, until moving to Tremonton, Utah, where he attended Bear River High School, graduating in 2000. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Indianapolis, Indiana Mission. James graduated from Weber State University in 2006, where he obtained his bachelor of science degree in technical sales. He works in sales and also is employed with Skywest Airlines in Salt Lake City, Utah.
James and Sandra will be married in the Salt Lake Temple on Sept. 10, 2011. A ring ceremony and wedding reception will be held on Sept. 23 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Stake Center) 790 S. Haskett Street in Mountain Home.
