Community cares day is today

Local law enforcement, medical, wildlife, emergency services and military representatives gather in Mountain Home to showcase their respective organizations during the Second Annual Mountain Home Community Cares Day on Saturday.

Sponsored by the Mountain Home Sears store, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the local retailer, located at 1535 American Legion Blvd.

Free and open to the public, the event allows local residents to learn firsthand the types of emergency response agencies based in Mountain Home and surrounding agencies and how these organizations function during a crisis situation.
