New ambulance service complex dedicated

County and city leaders joined local business representatives to formally dedicate the county's consolidated ambulance complex during a ceremony June 22.
The building serves as the central storage and training facility for the county's fleet of 30 emergency medical technicians and paramedics.
"It's simply incredible," said Richard Albright, a paramedic with the Elmore Ambulance Service. "Having everything under one roof makes it easier for us to respond to emergencies and to keep up with the needs of our vehicles and crews."
